	Feilding Christmas Parade 12th December 2004 On the Sunday, we ran an excursion from Palmerston to Feilding with Wab 794, to bring people to the Feilding Christmas parade. We also ran a side trip to Halcombe before the parade for Feilding residents. This picture shows the Wab heading for Halcombe from Feilding. Large photo available.
	Manwatu Gorge 5th December 2004 Wab 794 hauled a trip through the Manawatu Gorge. The weather was extremely cold, and snow fell on the higher peaks of the ranges.
	Manawatu Gorge 2nd May 2004 In March, April and May we ran three sightseers Gorge excursion's with Wab 794 to see the damage to the road in the Manawatu Gorge.
	Highbury Whanau Group Visit 13th January 2004 During school holiday visitors from Highbury Whanau Group came for a look.

	Christmas Parade Day Shuttles 2003 14th December 2003 F163 and the Jiggers joined forces to give visitors a ride in the yard.
	Friends of Thomas the Tank Engine Event 2003 1st November 2003 Our locomotives and local friends joined forces to bring Friend of Thomas to Feilding.
	Dannevirke 18th October 2003 The excursion to the Dannevirke Garden Expo was hauled by Wab 794.
	Pahiatua 4th October 2003 Wab 794 hauled an excursion to Pahiatua.
	Wab 794's First Excursion in 50 years 31st August 2003 We ran 2 trips through the Manawatu Gorge to Woodville in one day to celebrate Wab 794 being restored and ready for use.
	July 2003 We are often visited by school groups.
	Fielddays March 2003 F163 was on display at the local Fielddays.
	Feilding Settlers Day 18th January 2003 F163 and Wab 794 joined forces to give visitors to Feilding a trip in the yard.

Bay Express in the Manawatu Gorge The road, rail and river travel though the Manawatu Gorge. The Gorge as its commonly called is very beautiful, with trees lining both sides, with the rail on the northern side, the road on the southern side, and the Manawatu River down the middle. The gorge railway was opened in 1891, it consists of four tunnels, and many bridges. It once even had a rail siding to let trains cross in the middle. The gorge looks better than it has ever been with the bush now grown right down to the tracks. While regular steam locomotives worked though the gorge they tended to cause line side fires in the summer. Of course this has not happened for over thirty years and the bush has now become quite dense.
