Manawatu Gorge Excursion – 1pm

Take the train through the Manawatu Gorge, view the magnificence of the gorge from the safety of the railway track. On the other side you will see the area at the southern end that has resulted in the Manawatu Gorge being closed to traffic. The Manawatu Standard reported on the 14th September 2017 the slip 170 times bigger than the slip in 2011 that closed the gorge for a year are imminent.
Passing through the Gorge its on to Woodville where you can see progress to restore the Woodville Railway Station.
